WHERE I COME FROM
I was born and raised in Wheaton, IL, in a close-knit family united by a business founded by my grandparents. Throughout my childhood, I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by their strong commitment to faith, family, charity, and community—values that were not only evident in their personal lives but also in how they operated the business and treated their employees. Immersed in this environment, I was instilled with a deep sense of hard work and ethics, principles that have been passed down through each generation of our family.

After living in Chicago for nearly 15 years, my wife and I relocated to South Barrington in early 2022. We are blessed with three children: Brynn, who is 6, and 4-year-old twins, Connor and Elizabeth. The twins currently attend Crème De La Crème in the Arboretum but will soon join Brynn at Barbara Rose Elementary next fall. Melissa and I are approaching our 9th anniversary, which is easy for me to remember as it coincides with the Cubs' World Series win. Interestingly, our first date was six years earlier at a Cubs game.

In addition to being an incredible mother and the heart of our family, Melissa works full-time overseeing the legal and compliance department for a multinational financial services firm.
A THRIVING CAREER AND EXPERIENCE
I bring over 20 years of experience in the private business sector, where I led and collaborated across various divisions. This experience has equipped me with the skills to work with diverse stakeholders, develop strategies, and manage projects—skills directly applicable to local government. Additionally, my time as Village Clerk has provided me with hands-on experience in municipal operations, policy implementation, and communication between residents and officials.
This has given me a deep understanding of how local government works and the importance of transparency in decision-making. As a father of three, I’ve honed my negotiation and problem-solving skills, learning the value of patience, understanding, and compromise—qualities that are essential in local governance.
I prioritize collaboration, open communication, and active listening when cultivating an opinion. My approach is data-driven, balancing long-term goals with short-term practicality. I am committed to making thoughtful decisions for the benefit of our community, leveraging both my business experience and my role as Village Clerk to help guide South Barrington toward continuing its stability and sustainable growth.
